Heretical Gaming is my blog about my gaming life, featuring small skirmishes and big battles from many historical periods (and some in the mythic past or the far future too). The focus is on battle reports using a wide variety of rules, with the occasional rules review, book review and odd musing about the gaming and history. Most of the battles use 6mm-sized figures and vehicles, but occasionally 15mm and 28mm figures appear too.

Hobby Update 02 Jan 23

This post (one of a few short ones) is a bit late coming out - I did a bit of hobby stuff and got some games done in the first week after New Year, but then got really busy and didn't have time to blog anything much!

Anyway, I managed to get a few Baccus 6mm WW2 models painted over the New Year:

Some US anti-tank guns and crews

Some Soviet anti-tank guns and crews

And some Soviet Combat Engineers

They are nice figures and models, easy to paint.  The figures were perhaps a little on the chunkier side compared to others in the Baccus ranges, or maybe that was just me. In any case, next on the list from Baccus will be some field artillery to go along with the above.

  1. Very productive work there, much more so than my meagre efforts of late:(.

    1. Just a few things to fill out a corner or too - I think most of use work in waves with these things, all respect to those who do stick to 'a bit every day'
