Heretical Gaming is my blog about my gaming life, featuring small skirmishes and big battles from many historical periods (and some in the mythic past or the far future too). The focus is on battle reports using a wide variety of rules, with the occasional rules review, book review and odd musing about the gaming and history. Most of the battles use 6mm-sized figures and vehicles, but occasionally 15mm and 28mm figures appear too.

Not-Partizan Show at Home Today

Since Partizan, my main local show, is obviously not on today, I have planned to give myself a gaming day today.  I am going to try and get a couple of figure games in myself, a "participation" game with my elder kids, a "look around the (online) traders" at lunchtime and a boardgame this evening.  Henry Hyde is doing a broadcast on Youtube at 1200 about staging Mollwitz and Sittangbad which looks quite interesting as part of the online "Partizan in the Cloud" event, so I will have a look in on that too.
I might even do a "show report" tomorrow!

Edit:

First Game up today is Thirty Years' War battle, The Battle of White Mountain:

Whilst setting up, I was having a listen to Dan Faulconbridge's Q&A too, which was quite interesting.

    1. Thanks very much both. It went very well (two AARs out today) and hopefully a "show report" will follow later on today, or tomorrow.
