Heretical Gaming is my blog about my gaming life, featuring small skirmishes and big battles from many historical periods (and some in the mythic past or the far future too). The focus is on battle reports using a wide variety of rules, with the occasional rules review, book review and odd musing about the gaming and history. Most of the battles use 6mm-sized figures and vehicles, but occasionally 15mm and 28mm figures appear too.

A Short Intermission

A serious bout of real life has just intervened to hinder my gaming activities, so it may be some time before I post again.  When I do, I am looking forward to:

1. Advancing my Peninsular War campaign, possibly with some new campaign rules.

2.  Finishing off my (reasonably small) lead mountain.  There are a few 6mm bits and bobs to do (some French artillery, some Hanoverian infantry, a few bases of Wars of the Roses' troops), plus some tidying up to do on a few 15mm WW2 figures and some Perry Wars of the Roses to complete.

3. Getting some more games payed and rules reviewed: next up will be Polemos ECW and Chain of Command, I think.

4.  Begin preparations for either a Gallic Wars campaign or a Wars of the Roses refight.

Hopefully I won't be away too long!
