I really enjoyed making and painting these, although my painting doesn't really do them full justice. But they will look nice enough at table distance. I hope I won't be too long in getting them to the table, although these were done during breaks in dissertation writing, which may prevent much gaming over the next week or so.
I am not sure what will be next, but probably WW2 Soviets or 15mm Afrika Korps. I was quite excited to see that Baccus are queing up their new releases, and 6mm Desert War would be a very strong temptation for me...
Some nice Cold War stuff there and your Desert kit looks rather wonderful:)
ReplyDeleteNot my Desert stuff! That is from the Baccus site hinting at future releases...but there is every chance that they will be making their way into my collection when they are released!
DeleteMy bad! They do look rather tempting though and, if I went down the Desert route, I think it would be 6mm to give that sense of space.
DeleteCould you photograph the models against something else? Your white painting tray is skewing the Digital camera contrast to make them seem really dark and muddy.
ReplyDeleteSure, I will try and remember to do that. To be truthful, these pics aren't really to show my pretty stuff (because it isn't that pretty), it is just a record of what I am up to. But I am never averse to trying new stuff out...
